Sunday Jan 4th, Day 4

So, once again I forgot to take pictures of dinner! After I had almost finished eating, I said “Nutsie, I forgot to take pictures!” Urgh…why do I always forget?!? I need to leave the camera in my pocket 24/7 so I am always picture ready.

It was 39 out when I left the house this morning to go to Publix. 39. In south Florida. Ugh. I can’t stand cold weather. Besides the fact that it requires extra layers, it also means no tan for me! Headed out to Publix at 7am and ate breakfast while walking around the store. I had a Myoplex Bar. Chocolate Chip flavor. Pretty good.

I had a late lunch of Chick Fil A and dominated that meal. I love Chick Fil A and it’s been a while since I have really had it. I ordered the chargrilled chicken wrap with honey mustard dressing, a 12 count nuggets and a large fry. I had water to drink. I ate every last bit of food and also had two honey mustard sauces for dipping. Delish.

For dinner, I made tacos for Taylor and I and veggies with leftover london broil for Mommy. I use the Old El Paso Hard & Soft Shell Taco Kit. We make our tacos into double deckers by using fat free Old El Paso refried beans. The worse thing about the kit is the taco seasoning. It is way way way too sodiumy. I don’t even use half a packet on the meat. Today I used maybe a quarter pack and still too much.

I had 4 double deckers with just a little bit of ground beef, lettuce, sour cream, cheese and Taco Bell mild sauce. They were all quite lovely. For Mommy, I chopped up a 1/3 of an onion, 2/3 of a green pepper and a handful of whole mushrooms and cooked them on stove. When they were done, I added the two pieces of leftover london broil (that I cut into pieces) into the pan with the sauce the broil was in. Let it all cook together and then served. She said it was really good.

Back to work tomorrow.

Peace.
